Agricultural digital Strategy Workshop
The Ministry of Agriculture is in the process of implementing its digital strategy. The strategy was presented to all the relevant stakeholders on the 10th July 2024 at Victory Hall in Maseru. The Director of the Department of Planning and Policy Analysis (DPPA) opened the meeting and welcomed all who attended. She shared the objectives of the workshop and invited the participants to be open and help by filling the gaps if they see them because this strategy will be the guide that will be used for a very long time. The Ministry of Communication Science and Technology made a presentation about the Ministry digital Policy.
The policy supports all the Ministries digital strategies. Another presentation was made by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition (MFSN). After all the presentations deliberations were made and noted. In wrapping up, DPPA shared the way forward as being the incorporation of the views shared, then the launching of the strategy and finally the implementation of the strategy. The closing remarks and vote of thanks was conveyed by the Ministry of Communication.
